The set for the Restricted Rock Paper Scissors ballroom is SO MUCH LIKE THE SOURCE MATERIAL IT MAKES ME WET. And the designs of the cards are different, but I absolutely love them to death; they look so cool. I mean, nothing wrong with Fukumoto's versions, obviously, but 1) not the 90s anymore, 2) live action, and 3) the continuity between the RRPS cards & the E-Card ones is very nice.

Not quite as epic as last episode (which managed to be cracky, action-packed, and sweet all at once), but still fucking hilarious. I laughed SO hard at Pokota getting trampled TWICE.

And I think J.C. Staff has gotten too used to animating moeblobs because WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING TO ZELGADIS THIS SEASON?? (Sad part is, I don't.............. really mind.)

BUT IT WAS STILL KINDA SWEET when the fishman was like, "HOW COULD YOU JUST LEAVE LINA BEHIND AFTER TRAVELLING WITH HER ALL THIS TIME YOU LOVE HER DON'T YOU???????????" and Gourry's face got all serious ffffffffff
Gourry was so poor through most of REVOLUTION, without a proper sword and all, and Lina even stopped carrying him around (has anyone else noticed that? when they fly, it's always Pokota carrying him nowadays). So I'm glad he got a little episode to himself, even if it was just cracktastic filler. I'm not really an active fangirl of Gourry, but he is a sweetheart and I still love him.


I am so so so so SUPER EXCITED for next episode!! Guess who's back, back again~ ♪ Haha, I KNEW they wouldn't dare leave him out despite the conspicuous lack of purple hair in the OP&ED; Xel is too fucking popular. I grew up on Doraemon, and come ON, what could be better than having a robot cat with a pocket-hammerspace full of awesome gadgets & inventions from the future? He's even one of TIME's Asian heroes!

Seriously, I'm surprised NO ONE else whose writer's blocks I've read so far has mentioned Doraemon. :| Although Marvin got a lot of love, which made me smile. I do love Marvin (even if he thinks no one does). WALL-E and Bender were also popular (& for good reason).

• Episode 3 of EVOLUTION-R was BRILLIANT. And there was enough dojikko to last me a lifetime (come to think of it, that's another quality Amelia & Naga definitely have in common. although Amelia has mostly grown out of it).
  Amelia & "Naama" duo were adorable and.......... kind of GAR, even? Beating a dragon with nothing but GUTS and JUSTICE (also sisterly LOVE and PACIFICST CRUSHHHH!).
  I totally wish Phil were my daddy. ;___; And freaking Zelgadis, stop being so damn cute!! By the next episode preview, it doesn't look like he's going to stop anytime soon, though. MISS MERMAID~! GIVE HIM A DEEEEEEEEP KISS




• Hooooly craaaaap I FINALLY watched episode 2 of Damages season 2 and... THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME. The double-dealing (aside from the obvious Ellen-working-with-the-FBI thing) and crafty, purposeful leaking has already begun ahhhhhh. Best fucking lawyer show EVER.

• Lmao I'm reading this cute & silly little fancomic consisting of a series of 4koma about (Ten-era) Akagi and Ginji being buddies. Akagi runs into Kaiji swimming in the sandbox at the park. Somehow, along with Morita, they all end up living together (though technically only Ginji and Morita live together, the other two are apparently just always around), and it's incredibly cute.
